Wig buying guide

Find the wig that fits you.

Three steps: measure your head, choose your lace type, then decide length and density. If you get stuck, write to us — we help every day.

1. How to measure your head

You need a soft tape measure and 2 minutes. Flatten your hair as much as possible (or wear a wig cap) and measure without pulling tight.

1 · Circumference2 · Front → nape3 · Ear → ear
  1. Circumference

Start at your front hairline, go above the ears, around the nape and back to the start. This is your key number.

  2. Front to nape

From the front hairline, over the crown, down to the nape.

  3. Ear to ear

From the top of one ear, over the head, to the other ear.

Cap size chart

SizeCircumferenceChoose it if
S52–54 cmSmaller head or petite size
M54–56 cmThe most common — fits ~80% of women
L56–58 cmLots of your own hair or braids underneath

Between two sizes? Go for the larger — every cap has an adjustable band and combs.

2. Lace types, simply

Lace is the fine, sheer mesh the hair is hand-tied into. Wherever there is lace, the hairline looks like it grows from your scalp.

  • Full Lace

3. Which length?

Length is measured with the hair stretched from the crown down. Wavy and curly textures look 2–4 inches shorter than their stretched length.

  1. 10–12″

    Chin — bob

  2. 14–16″

    Shoulders

  3. 18–20″

    Below the shoulders

  4. 22–24″

    Mid-back

  5. 26–30″

    Waist

4. Density

Density tells you how much hair the wig has. The higher, the fuller and more glam.

  • 150%

Natural and airy — like most natural hair.

  • 180%

Full with movement — the most popular choice.

  • 200–250%

Rich volume for a glamorous look.
